Let’s start with the basic information. The wedding fashion show took place on the 4-5 October in the Villa Borromeo D’Adda, the 18th-century estate, located not far away from Milan. 24 recognizable brands presented the new wedding collections which will dictate trends in 2024. From classic styles to modern looks (even futuristic ones!) could be seen all over the villa’s gardens. Who attended? Crème de la crème of the fashion designer community. There were wedding industry experts from Italy, Ukraine, Canada, the USA, and many more countries. Among the most recognizable, we can mention:

A broader aspect of the wedding fashion show
White Wedding Platform was not a typical fashion show. We could not only meet fashion experts, influencers, stylists, and organizers of other popular fashion events. It was also an educational experience, where five readers gave lectures and speeches outlining wedding industry trends in 2024. They also shared with the public their invaluable knowledge and experiences. Who were they? We could learn from:

What are the white wedding fashion trends for 2024?
We cannot forget about wedding videography in Italy. The event was the perfect place to get the gist of the hottest trends and get inspiration for a wedding film. After all, a wedding videographer is the first point of contact when it comes to the realization of the newlyweds dreams. As an experienced wedding videographer, I could not have missed such a display of ideas and inspirations. What impressed me the most? The unusual, brave, and creative propositions. We are slowly but surely entering a world where women can wear whatever they want, also during their weddings. We no longer astound the world only with a destination (wedding in Milan or a wedding in Como does not surprise anyone anymore). We do it with looks. The future brides will wear not only dresses but also suits!
But perhaps the biggest controversy brides will arouse by wearing black. Yes, the era of men in black has to give in to women in black now, and… we love it! In this version, the effect was enhanced by the feathers and glittery finish.
The White Wedding Platform in Milan was a great celebration of bridal fashion. It was a magnificent mixture of cultures, new trends, and styles. This magical event sparked the creativity in already-inspiring minds by the innovative designs of wedding brands. It was not only an unforgettable experience for someone who is a fashion designer but also for any wedding videographer or simply a future bride, planning a Milan wedding (and not only!).
